The HomeSite Power 3500 is a 60 Hz gasoline generator designed to be strong, portable, and affordable. This model is not very large, 101 pounds. There is an optional wheel kit for increased mobility. The Power 3500 is similar to the Power 2400; however, it offers that extra power for more demanding applications. It can be used at home, on the job site, and for some small commercial uses.

It is powered by an OHV 6.5 hp engine which can produce 2800 watts of max AC power and 2500 watts of rated power. This is definitely strong enough for power a variety of small to mid size devices. It operates at 60 Hz and supports both 120V and 240V. In addition, there is also a DC output for charging 12V batteries.

The Power 3500 features three two prong receptacles and circuit breaker protection. It can run for up to 8 hours continuously @ rated load on its 4 gallon fuel tank. This is slightly shorter than the Power 2400 but this is primarily due to the Power 3500 offering more power. Refueling is not that difficult; however, it usually requires a short delay for the engine to cool before adding more fuel.

Similar to the Power 2400, the Power 3500 also produces a 68 dBA noise level. This is not very loud and should not cause any disturbances. However, it is usually advisable to isolate it from surrounding neighbors.

The HomeSite Power 2400 is a small yet efficient power supply designed to be extremely safe and highly portable. This generator offers a strong output capable of powering many small devices. This is excellent for the home camp site, vacations, and anywhere portable power is needed. It is also great for emergency or backup power.

It is powered by a 6.5 hp OHV gasoline engine that can produce up to 2200 watts of peak AC power and 2000 watts of rated power. This OHV engine is quite efficient with runtimes of up to 13 hours @ rated load on its mid-sized 4 gallon tank. In addition to its AC output, this model also features a 12 volt DC output. This is perfect for charging batteries.

The noise level can be an important factor when used in close proximity to neighbors. However, this model excels in this area. On a full load from 23 feet it has a noise level of only 68 dBA. This should easily be tolerable for most people.

It weights 99 pounds; however, there is an optional wheel kit for mobility. This is highly recommended to consumers who plan on transporting this beast. It also comes equipped with an oil alert system that automatically shuts off the generator if the oil gets too low. This is extremely important because a shortage of oil can cause the engine to overheat which often results in costly repairs.
