Honda EU2000 Generator

The Homlite LR4300 offers up to 4,300 Watts of peak power and can provide a continuous power of up to 3,800 Watts.

It features a heavy-duty 7 1/2 HP Robin engine with a cast iron sleeve and automatic low oil shutoff to make sure that the engine will not be burned out.  Nice large 5 gallon fuel tank allows long continuous operation, and optional wheel kit makes it a cinch to move this power house around!

This generator also comes with a heavy-duty muffler and electric surge/circuit breaker protection built in for you and your crew’s safety!

  1. This is a great little unit! It really seems to pack a punch in the power department. I bought one used from a hobbist contractor friend on mine. The unit is heavy and appears to be overbuilt and solid. It is quite heavy - about 150 lbs with gas in it, maybe more, but seems to be very durable. The gas tank is large at 5 gallons, so I guess that can swing the weight about 40 lbs itself. It is not a unti that you want to lift alone. It is also pretty loud, but starts very easily everytime. I was also surprised to see that the engine is actually made by Subaru! Overall I think this is a great heavy-duty little generator, and I am very comforable being dependant on it.

  2. The Homelite LR4300 is a powerful and dependable generator. Equipped with a fairly large engine that provides a strong max output of 4300W, the generator can reliably supply power for several devices. It starts quite easily without much effort. Although it is a little louder than others, it does have a muffler to reduce noise to a quite tolerable level. Its large fuel tank adds the convenience of not having to refill it constantly. This can prove to be a very valuable asset in storm situations and unpleasant weather conditions. It is also somewhat conveniently sized to save space in confined areas. There is the option for a wheel to increase mobility, which I personally recommend due to its weight. The LR4300 also has several protective features, such as electronic surge/circuit breakers and an oil alert system. Overall, this is an excellent generator for many scenarios.
