The Honda EM7000isAB combines power of the EM6500S with inverter and i-monitor technology to serve needs at both the home and on trips. It can be used in close surroundings without disrupting neighbors because it only produces noise levels of 69 dB @ rated load and 63 dB @ ¼ load. Its i-monitor technology provides system information and assists in maintenance. Its inverter technology reduces noise, decreases weight, and increases runtime.  

Honda provides the optional electric start for convenience. The standard model EM700isAB comes with an electronic ignition, electronic circuit breakers, fuel gauge, muffler, and a 120/ 240 selector switch. For receptacles, it has a 20A 125V duplex NEMA plug, a 30A 125V locking plug NEMA plug, and a 30A125/250V locking plug NEMA plug. Honda’s Eco throttle technology enables operation for 4.7 hours @ rated load and 14 hours @ ¼ load on its mid sized 4.5 gallon fuel tank. It has Oil Alert to prevent engine damage. It is fairly large weighing 209 pounds and having the dimensions of 31.9 x 26.4 x 27.2 inches (L x W x H).However, the two wheel kit makes transport possible.

Additional options are a transfer switch to connect the generator to home electrical systems, a hanger kit for storage, remote control kit for convenience, and a storage cover for protection.

The EM7000isAB comes with a standard two year residential and one year commercial warranty.
